What We're Doing
AAU Teams
Team Mookie, our grassroots program, is comprised of four different AAU basketball teams in the Nashville metro area - U14, U15, U16 & U17. Each team travels between April and July for tournaments across the country, and 100% of our graduating athletes are playing college basketball. 5 senior athletes are provided with scholarships to cover their supplies in their first year of college, and this program exists with the goal of providing athletes with resources beyond the basketball court, in the realms of mental health, nutrition, and financial literacy.

Turkey Drive
The Betts Family and the 5050 Foundation have held a turkey drive in November for the last three years in order to help support the Los Angeles community. This annual event is in partnership with the Dodgers Foundation and provides families with nutritious food options, household items, and other things they might need during the holiday season. Since 2020, roughly 4500 families of 4 have been served, and plan to support 1500 more in November of 2024.
